Front Desk/Medical Assistant-New Jersey

Immediate opening for Front Desk/Medical Assistant for busy podiatry practice. Hours are Mon. 8-5. Tues. 8-6, Wed. 8-4, Thurs 8-6 and Fri. 8-4.

This position is full-time. Some Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient check-in/check-out, intake, proper prep of exam rooms, sterile technique, data entry in EMR, assisting doctor if needed, DME dispensing, insurance authorizations, surgical scheduling and phone triage.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT FOR MIDLOTHIAN/POWHATAN

Immediate opening for MEDICAL ASSISTANT for busy podiatry practice. Hours are Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm. (Coverage for other days may be needed periodically.) This position may become full time by fall 2019. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient check-in/check-out, intake, proper prep of examination rooms, sterile technique, room turnover, detailed patient data entry in EMR, assisting doctor if needed. Inventory control, DME dispensing and insurance authorizations. Occasional surgical scheduling. MUST BE proficient and extremely comfortable with using computers and learning the EMR system! American Health Network’s Foot and Ankle office is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to work in a fast pace physician clinical practice setting.  A normal day for our dedicated Medical Assistants includes, but is not limited to, rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures, phone triage, limited radiology, and documentation in EHR.
