The Secretary’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attending and keeping minutes of all meetings
of the ASPMA membership, ASPMA Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the ASPMA.
The selected candidate will maintain all records as well as other duties specified in the Bylaws and job descriptions of the American Society of Podiatric Medical Assistants.

The chosen candidate for Secretary is responsible for providing their own form of transportation, lodging and registration for the Annual Meeting, to be held at the Midwest Conference in Chicago, Il, April 2009. However, if the candidate is elected at the ASPMA General Membership Meeting his/her expenses for attending the required meetings will be reimbursed by ASPMA with partial reimbursement for his/her presence during the initial meeting.
